Pole Dance

I teach a wide variety of polers, from those starting their first pole class all the way to more advanced pole dancers. I have experience teaching choreography, heels, flips, spin, static rotation, deadlifts, flexibility moves and more.  I can come teach a workshop at your studio or bring my stage to teach at your next event.

Aerial Pole

Want to learn how to pole but in the air? I teach all my tips and techniques to use centrifugal force to your advantage. Workshops are available from beginner to advanced level. I can even bring my two 45mm Lupit aerial poles to you! Everyone leaves with a nice routine suited to their level.

Back Bending

Covers the technique for back bending all the way through your spine from neck to bum. You will learn proper abdominal engagement for back bending, how to warm up properly, as well as how to cool down to keep your spine healthy and supported. We will work on cobra and bridge variations tailored to the level of students in the class. Options for advanced back bending as well (needle scale, elbow bridge, walkovers).

Front Splits

Includes information on how femoral and sciatic nerve. tension may interfere with progress and how to overcome nerve pain. You will learn more about your fascia, joint lubrication, active splits. You will learn the difference between closed and open splits and how to use each to your advantage. For those who are more advanced we will progress with over splits and split shapes.

Middle Splits

I breakdown the technique for the middle splits and pancake focusing on finding the pelvic tilt that works best for your body. We will strengthen and lengthen both our abductors (muscles that pull your legs open) and adductors (muscles that pull your legs together) so that you can feel safe and stable in a middle split position.

Hand Balancing and Inversions

I explain the mechanics of balancing and what muscles and engagement to employ to stay upright. We train for overbalance (falling towards your back) and under balance (falling towards your feet). Depending on the level of the group, I can teach step by step how to kick up to the wall, free kick ups, press handstand, straddle, tuck, straight handstand, contortion handstands, leg waves, and air walking technique.
